6 photos of a new 36 inch Oak walking  cane I just finished,
I have multiple sclerosis (MS) but cant let it get me down,
so enjoy making self-defense canes from native American Oak
it is hard to beat the famous strength
found in a tuff piece of old Oak,
Cane was finished with many coats of a non-toxic oil finish
to protect and seal the wood.
I hand sanded after each coat of oil with a finer grit of sandpaper.
the last was done with 1500 GRIT carbide sandpaper to smooth the wood.
This Oak walking  cane is about 36" tall, The bottom is fitted with a nonskid rubber tip to keep you from falling, while taking your balance assisted coordination support MS walks.

A strong Tuff Oak walking cane or stick can act as a unique, legal to carry, self-defense protection weapon for all people.
Its not just for senior citizens.
